FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

In general, in 2026, we will meet on the fourth Thursday evening of each month at 7pm. There may be a few exceptions. Please confirm dates here before you come — or, better yet, sign up to be notified by email.

We meet in the Admin West building of the Fleming Island United Methodist Church. Address is 7170 US Highway 17, Fleming Island, FL 32068.

The location is the west side of 17, a little south of Pat’s Nursery and a little north of Corky Bell’s restaurant.

Look for the Clamour yard sign to find the entrance you should use.

These readings are open to the public. In general, play readings are more suitable for adults and teens than for young children. Note also that some plays may contain adult language and/or adult situations. Individual play descriptions will contain that information.

A Clamour reading is a minimally rehearsed, sit-down presentation of the play by local actors, followed by a moderated audience feedback session.

Clamour readings allow our audiences and our actors to be exposed to new works for the stage and provide some feedback to the playwrights as they continue to work on their scripts.
