IVAN FAUTE
Ivan Faute (Urban Gardening, or The Immigration Play) studied writing at the University of Illinois at Chicago Program for Writers. In July 2017 his physical theater piece Life, Death, & Everything in Between, developed with choreographer Suzanne Wiltgen, will premier at Capital Fringe (Washington DC). His stage adaptation of Cris Mazza’s novella Disability premiered at the Planet Connections Festivity (New York) in June 2016. Some recent prose appears in Litbreak, Rathalla Review and Axolotl Magazine. He is currently an Assistant Professor in English at Christopher Newport University in southeast Virginia. www.ivanfaute.org
BARBARA LINDSAY
Barbara Lindsay (Cupid’s Beau) Barbara Lindsay’s first full length play, Free, won the NY Drama League’s 1989 Playwrighting Competition and was given its premiere production in London in 1991. Since then there have been almost 400 national and international productions of her plays and monologues. Her full length play I-2195 won the Women in the Arts Award at UM St. Louis and was produced there in 2005. Her short play Here to Serve You won the 2008 Goshen Peace Play Prize. In 2011 she was Playwright-in-Residence for New Voices for the Theater, a two-week playwriting intensive for teens produced annually by SPARC (School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community) in VA. Babs is a fifth generation Californian living in Seattle, WA, married to an amazing man, and ridiculously happy.
SCOTT MULLEN
Scott Mullen (Sandbox) is a longtime Hollywood screenplay analyst and screenwriter, a two-time winner of Amazon Studios’ screenwriting contest, whose thriller The Summoning aired on TV One. His short plays have been performed around the world.
ELLEN DAVIS SULLIVAN
Ellen Davis Sullivan (The Fruit Salad of Shame) Ellen Davis Sullivan’s plays have been on stage in theaters across the country including in The Boston Theatre Marathon, The Indie Boots Festival in Chicago, and The Thalia Festival in New York City. Her one-act play Recessed! Or When the Mortgage Goes Upside Down was a winner of the Vermont Actors’ Repertory Theater 2013 Nor-Eastern Playwrights’ Competition. Ellen is an award-winning fiction writer whose stories have appeared in journals in print and online including Clarion, Stonecoast Review and Moment Magazine. Ellen is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild.
CHRIS SHAW SWANSON
Chris Shaw Swanson (People Like Us) is an award-winning Ohio playwright whose comedies and dramas have been produced throughout the United States and abroad. Publishers of her scripts include Smith & Kraus, Meriwether and the International Centre for Women Playwrights. A member of the Dramatists Guild of America and the International Centre for Women Playwrights, Chris is the recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award for Playwriting. The Council recently engaged Chris to serve as a Residency Artist, teaching playwriting at schools and community facilities throughout her home state. OLIVIA GOWAN
Olivia Gowan (Sunflower, Urban Gardening, or The Immigration Play; Lacey, Cupid’s Beau; Patti, The Fruit Salad of Shame; Julie, People Like Us) has been an active actor in the Northeast Florida area for the last six years. She recently graced the stage with her role of Carlene in Hallelujah Girls at ABET theatre, having done the same the year before as Alex in On the Verge. Some of her favorite roles include Ivy in August Osage County, Jesse Mae in Trip to the Bountiful, Odessa in Water by the Spoonful, which were all at Players by the Sea, where she also mounted a production of her play Cotton Alley last year. Other fun venues, where she played fabulous characters, were the White Queen in Alice & Wonderland with A Classical Theatre, Olivia in St. George and the Dragon at Christ Episcopal, and Elaine in Miss Firecracker at the Limelight. Olivia is delighted to create other fun roles with the Clamour Theatre as she explores the characters from five new and exciting playwrights.
BRIAN JOHNSON
Brian Johnson (Pepper, Urban Gardening, or The Immigration Play; Peter,Cupid’s Beau; Rick, Sandbox) is a retired Air Force Colonel with 26 years of active duty experience. He now enjoys creative arts and performing as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and actor. Brian has been in several North Florida theatre productions in the past four years at the Limelight Theatre, Players by the Sea, Theatre Jacksonville, and Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre. His most recent roles include Bobby Dwayne in ABET’s Hallelujah Girls and King Triton in Theatre Jax’s The Little Mermaid. Favorite past roles include Capt Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Jesus in Godspell, Roger deBris in The Producers, and Frankie in Forever Plaid. Brian and his wife, Meganne, live in Atlantic Beach, FL. They have two beautiful daughters.
KAREN KONZEN
| Karen Konzen (Sarah, The Fruit Salad of Shame; Marion, People Like Us; Claire, Sandbox) is excited to be appearing for the first time with Clamour Theatre Company. She was most recently seen on stage in Love, Loss and What I Wore and as Banquo in Macbeth at Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre, as well as Mrs. Antrobus in The Skin of our Teeth at The 5&Dime. Karen has also appeared in several films, most recently completing the short film Grab This. Her starring role in the feature film Thunder was screened this year as an official selection of the Sunscreen Film Festival. She has been previously seen on stage in the greater Jacksonville area in A Picasso, Cotton Alley, The Fox on the Fairway, Tea and Sympathy, and The House of Blue Leaves. |

Toni Lang Philips (Cucumber, Urban Gardening, or The Immigration Play; Abby, The Fruit Salad of Shame; Betsy, Sandbox) is pleased to be part of this production of short plays. She has been a part of theatre in the Jacksonville area for more than 15 years. Plays include The Litte Foxes, Silent Heroes, Pippin, and at Theatre Jacksonville, Once on This Island; Love, Loss and What I Wore, and The Hallelujah Girls at ABET; Dividing the Estate, In the Blood, Cotton Alley and A Lesson Before Dying at Players by the Sea. Also plays in St. Augustine and Amelia Island, including Loveisloveislove, honoring the Pulse Night Club victims. She is part of the Swamp Radio retreads.
